Psychiatrist

Role Overview:

The Psychiatrist in this role provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy to support patients’ mental health needs. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to treatment planning, and have opportunities for mentorship, and professional development within the organization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients referred for DBT treatment.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide medication management.
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions alongside group therapy.
 

Requirements: 

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Experience or training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Therapist - LAPC or LPC

Role Overview:

 

This is a full-time, on-site role as a licensed therapist. You will provide individual DBT therapy, conduct DBT groups, offer 24/7 phone coaching, conduct initial assessments, create treatment plans and complete session notes. 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assess clients’ mental health needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and support to clients dealing with various mental health issues
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation of client sessions and progress
 

Requirements: 

 

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Valid state licensure as a Therapist or Counselor
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate with psychiatrists on medication management
  • Proficiency in ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
