Jessica Tiwari (she/her) is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. Jessica has spent the past 10 years working with people who have struggled with ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and other diagnoses relating to executive functioning.
Jessica focuses on improving coping skills relating to executive functioning such as processing information, memory, decision making, and organization. Jessica has worked with adolescents and adults to help clients overcome the barriers that arise in different phases of life such as school, work, or managing day to day life. Jessica’s approach to counseling is a collaborative effort based in DBT for clients and herself to work towards goals that align with the client’s values, beliefs and aspirations.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University and her Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University. In 2013 Jessica began her work as an Executive Skills Coach where she helped primarily school aged clients improve their grades through working on skills such as focus, attention, and organization.
She then interned as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist where she gained experience helping adults with career barriers that arise from having complex mental health and disabling conditions. Jessica has provided individual therapy in a private setting for the past 2 years and continues to grow her knowledge and skills in DBT and executive functioning.
